A return to the forgotten foods of yesteryear.
The Longevity Table is a new, unique concept that I have created from a desire to offer a small and inviting space to enjoy homemade, nourishing and completely unprocessed foods.
There is a deep yearning in all of us for the forgotten foods of yesteryear. They are so deeply woven into our DNA that, when consumed, they nourish not only the body but also the soul. This is food that feels right. The kind of recipes your great-grandmother would have made. This is a return to simple pleasures.
My mission is to bring nutrient-dense whole foods back to the modern table for vibrant health and longevity. This could start with a simple cup of broth, which can be so satisfying, hugely comforting, rich in flavours and nutrients.
The Longevity Table is the fusion of two worlds: olde-world wisdoms, traditions and artisan crafts, with a slick contemporary edge.
November and December by the fire
The same philosophy but, dressed for winter. Think candles, log fire's and warm lunches in the main house: slow-cooked root vegetables, soups, and puddings that make winter worth it.
Yoga, breathwork and Turkish Breakfast.
For those who want a shorter, gentler day on the farm, I host yoga and breath work mornings followed by a long Turkish breakfast.
We begin at 9am with yoga and breathwork, then move to a generous Turkish-style breakfast: small plates, fresh bread, honey from the farm, eggs from our chickens, and Turkish tea brewed the traditional way.
To finish, a Turkish coffee with a traditional fortune-telling reading. A tour of the gardens, greenhouse, bees and chickens are included. The day will come to an end at 1pm.
